The Schlage Home app is compatible with multiple Schlage smart lock models, including the Schlage Encode Plus™ Smart WiFi Deadbolt, Schlage Encode™ Smart WiFi Deadbolt, Schlage Encode™ Smart WiFi Lever, and Schlage Sense® Smart Deadbolt. In addition, the app is also compatible with the Apple Watch, allowing Schlage Encode smart lock owners to lock, unlock, and check the status of their deadbolt directly from their Apple Watch.

Schlage Encode smart lock series (deadbolt, lever, and plus versions) offers built-in WiFi capabilities, eliminating the need for additional hubs or accessories for remote access. With the Schlage Home app, you can conveniently perform various functions such as locking/unlocking and checking the lock's status from anywhere. Furthermore, you can manage up to 100 unique access codes per lock, schedule access codes according to specific times/days or temporary durations, and even share virtual keys for different levels of access. The app's history log allows you to review lock activity, while customizable push notifications keep you informed about specific access code usage or when your door is locked/unlocked. Additional features include time delay for auto-locking, low battery warnings, and built-in alarm warnings based on disturbance detection. Moreover, these locks offer hands-free voice control compatibility with leading voice-enabled devices.

The Schlage Encode Plus Smart WiFi Deadbolt also supports Apple HomeKit in addition to the above features. By pairing your lock with Apple HomeKit through the Schlage Home app, you can create an Apple home key in the Wallet app for convenient and secure access using your iPhone or Apple Watch. Additionally, you gain the ability to create and manage always-on access codes within the Apple Home app, lock/unlock the deadbolt from your iPhone or Apple Watch, and utilize Siri voice control to operate and check the lock's status. The lock can also be integrated into automations or controlled remotely through the Apple Home app when used with a HomePod or Apple TV configured as a home hub.

The Schlage Sense Smart Deadbolt utilizes Bluetooth technology, enabling you to control your lock easily using your smartphone and the Schlage Home app within Bluetooth range. With this app, you can perform functions such as locking/unlocking, checking the lock's status, managing up to 30 unique access codes per lock, scheduling access codes, sharing virtual keys, and viewing the history log. Additionally, time delay for auto-locking and built-in alarm warnings based on disturbance detection are available features.

By pairing the Schlage Sense Smart Deadbolt with a Schlage Sense WiFi Adapter and connecting it to your home WiFi network, you can enjoy remote access and added features such as managing access codes, receiving push notifications, utilizing hands-free voice control, and integrating with leading voice-enabled devices. Moreover, when combined with Apple HomeKit and a HomePod, Apple TV, or iPad configured as a home hub, you can control and automate your lock remotely through the Apple Home app.
